Carol Dickinson is a highly qualified and experienced physiotherapist. She regularly attends courses and conferences to maintain the highest standard of treatment.
As an active sportswoman herself, running regularly and playing hockey for a local club, Carol understands the need of sports people of all ages and abilities. She specialises in spinal and joint problems, treating people of all ages.
Carol has worked both in the public and private sector and abroad.
She was a senior physiotherapist at Stoke Mandeville Hospital where she specialised in spinal injuries and rheumatology.
As a senior physiotherapist at Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford (a Centre of Excellence), Carol was in charge of the outpatients physiotherapy department, treating a large variety of conditions.
Whilst at the Nuffield, she also worked in a dedicated sports injury clinic and then went on to act as a club physiotherapist at Beaconsfield Rugby Club.
She has had her own physiotherapy business for 16 years.
Recently, with the corona virus lockdown, Carol started offering online consultations and has found that it can be a very useful way to offer treatment. She successfully saw several patients through a whole course of rehabilitation.
After a thorough examination, a treatment plan will be discussed and explained. Carol firmly believes that the more you understand about your condition, the better able you are to deal with it, so education is an important part of treatment.
